My 62 Chevy ii Nova
I'm slowly working on my 1962 Chevy ii Nova coupe. It has a TCI pro touring front clip and torque arm rear suspension, 2005 5.3 Gen 3 LS engine, Tremec TKX 5speed manual transmission, Currie 9" rear axle with 3.70 ratio, TCI headers, TCI radiator support, with LS swap radiator and fan setup by US Radiator. Started with a budget...blew it! I'm in the middle cleaning up my OEM engine harness and just ordered my ICT accessory kit.

Let's do a dirty swap. Lq4 with a 4L60E swap on somewhat of a budget. I may come here for some questions down the road. I don't typically build LS swaps with a focus on budget and stock parts interchangeability so there is definitely somethings to learn for me here.

Nice project. I've come to like that era. I feel guilty of Mike's comment on no budget restrictions. I always start with a budget approach then fail. As I've aged I appreciate less power adders. I had an old MCB and could floor it through all of the gears and not get a speeding ticket. It was fun on the street.

My "Gift Horse"... I'm working on my 1962 Chevy ii Nova coupe. It has a TCI pro touring front clip and torque arm rear suspension, 5.3 Gen 3 LS engine, TCI headers, TCI radiator support, with radiator and fan setup by US Radiator. Still a long way to go... I am interested is which ICT accessory kit would work well with this setup.

@Mike Arsenault By the look, and cost, of my chassis/engine setup, it could be a track car but I want it to be a street car. My two previous builds were over-done and became Sunday/show cars. I want this one to be comfortable to be driven most any day. My build partner and my daughter want to see it on the track. So...we'll see who wins.

@Mike Arsenault Cool. I watched my first Drag & Drive event in person last year. It's quite an interesting approach. My daughter and I really enjoyed one of their stops in person. Good luck on finding the balance between the drive and drag!
