WOW. I got a LOT from that! -allow others to teach you, it can be more than 1 person investing into you. -"people are difficult because they come with baggage"...YES! -inviting correction from respected person allows you to see your blind spots and grow. -"I don't have the skills to match my passion", SAME HERE! -first submit to your spouse before ministry and all else will follow. THIS IS SO GOOD! I see a lot of people desiring to do ministry but their spouses aren't in it and they're pulled in two opposite directions and they all suffer for it. This is really enlightening to me. -Having a private close inner circle when you are leading is crucial for growth, development and protecting your boundaries. Thanks for sharing Hannah! This was great!

My question is: what if I am called to some type of ministry...does that mean my spouse is too? Where do you draw the line as far as "his ministry" vs "my ministry"?

This was really good! "being somewhere I don't want to be, talking to people who don't want to talk to me, sharing a message I don't want to share, but Christ's love compels me to" reminds me of how comfortable (and lazy) we have become as the big C church. We are cozy within our four walls and prefer that people come to us to hear the gospel. But that's not what Jesus did at all! Great eye opener!!
