🐾 NEW IN THE GUIDES LIBRARY — THE GOLDEN YEARS
I've just added a brand-new guide to the Classroom — THE GOLDEN YEARS: Understanding Your Dog as They Grow Older. Five of my six dogs are now in their senior years, and one thing they've taught me is that there really isn't one way that dogs grow older. Some changes are obvious, while others — particularly changes in behaviour — can take us completely by surprise. This guide looks at some of the changes you might notice as your dog gets older, including behaviour and cognitive changes, along with practical ways to adapt everyday life and help them stay comfortable and keep enjoying the things they love. 🐶 THE GOLDEN YEARS is available in the free Guides Library for the next week, so head over to the Classroom → Guides Library and you'll find it waiting for you. After that, it'll be moving into the Premium Guides Library. If you've got a senior dog, I'd love to know their name and age in the comments. Mine apparently all got old when I wasn't looking! 🥹

@Deb Parsonage this is hilarious !!!!! Also, it is a totally different vibe when they are older, thanks for reminding it. I have found that they often do get more quiet or cranky.
🎥 A Little Taste of the Food & Behaviour
I thought I’d share a little taste of the Food & Nutrition course with you. 🐾 In this short preview, we look at some of the marketing around dog food, what the labels on the bag can actually tell us, and why what we feed our dogs can be worth considering as part of the bigger behaviour picture. This is just one part of the mini course — we go much further into ingredients, processing, fresh food, simple things you can add to your dog's bowl and plenty more. If this gets you thinking about what you're feeding your dog, you can find the full Food & Nutrition mini course in the Classroom for $15. And if you've got questions about your own dog's food, bring them over to the Mini Courses | Discussion section too. 🤎

This is so valuable, the pet food industry needs a huge revolution and your master class helps owners to navigate this confusing topic !!!
🥣 Food & Nutrition — Tell Me About Your Dog
Have you ever wondered whether your dog's food could be affecting their behaviour? When we think about behaviour challenges, most of us naturally focus on training. But what our dogs eat is another piece of the bigger picture, and it can be worth looking at alongside everything else going on for them. If you've worked through the Food & Nutrition course, this is the place to keep the conversation going. I'd love to hear what stood out for you, what you're currently feeding, or anything the course has made you think about differently. 🐾 What are you currently feeding your dog? 🐾 Was there anything in the course that surprised you? 🐾 Is there anything around food or nutrition that you're still unsure about? And if you haven't done the course yet, you're still very welcome to join the conversation! There's no one perfect way to feed every dog, and this definitely isn't a place for judging what's in anyone else's dog bowl. Share as much or as little as you like, ask questions, and let's chat about what you're seeing with your own dog. 🐾💚
All I have to say here is that I am super thankful that you are addressing the food aspect. I just know how much the modern processed food affect us humans and it would be exactly the same, or a really, even possibly worse with pets. I don't know if there are even any regulations.
