Hey creative friends, I'm looking to purchase an industrial sewing machine. What are your recommendations? New or used? Do you have a favorite brand? What do I need to know?
Hi Karen, I recommend a used single needle Jukie. It is the best machine I've ever had! You'll need to get it serviced every once and a blue moon but it is so fast and efficient, I couldn't have asked for a better machine.
Happy Wednesday, everyone. I hope you're having a great week. Here in Utah we're seeing really warm, spring-like weather, which is wonderful and unusual for March. How are things where you live?
I used to have one of those cushiony sewing boxes but moved all my supplies to a bigger Tupperware with compartments and a lid! It’s so much better and keeps my mind clear!
I have way too many projects, but I'd love to see what you all are working on! Here's a picture of one of my many projects. I'm embroidering on a jacket I got at a Christmas party. The foundation will wash away with water.
This is the pillow I made when I was 11 years old, for my mom. (It’s a little dirty) I had a neighbor who taught me how to sew on her featherweight Singer by making quilts. I’ve been hooked ever since! Every time I look at one of my first projects, it gives me inspiration to keep going!
