Alrightie-roo physics buddies, I have made the hard choice to abandon this Skool in favor of an old fashioned email list (and possibly discord server in the future). If you’d like to join the list, here ya go! It’s going to be focused on AP physics though, FYI. https://kelkelphysics.kit.com/signup So long, farewell

best way to structure a gcse explain/describe question?
I have my final summer exams coming up and I’ve looked thought this years previous tests to see where my mistakes were, I was really strong on the energy topic but the SLG less so, I found that I knew the fundamentals of the topic but when it came to some of the longer application and explain questions I was losing the marks. Especially with these being the higher marked questions I wanted to improve during this easter holiday. Does anyone reccomend a good structure for an explain question so what I should generically aim to write and how? thank you!!

Hi! I’m US based so not that familiar with GCSE format, but I’ll take a look

I’ll go first! I’m Kelley! I’ve got a PhD in physics education research, and I teach math and AP physics. I made this community to gather folks who like physics and who want to learn physics! I like fiber arts of all types (sewing, crochet, knitting, etc). What about you!?

@Kat Ellis welcome, and ask away!
What should I make next?
Alright team, I’m having a hard time focusing on one task at a time, so I’m polling the masses! What would you like me to create first? A course layout? An activity for a specific topic? A video for a specific topic? Some Practice problems? What do you need?

@Alexander Larson, BSME ah yeah I was planning to get to those eventually, I started with unit 8 since that’s the first one in E&M, and the class I’m currently teaching! Mapping them all out is a good idea though, so y’all can at least see what’s in queue

Thank you for the add! I taught college physics for several years and have been tutoring physics and calculus for a long time. Excited to be here!
