Spent this weekend on the lookout for selvedge jeans after watching Sully's video (big ups sully for the info on what to look for). Anyways I picked these up because it was made in Europe, a name I couldn't pronounce properly and the stitching quality. Was absolutely gassed when I got home and gave the brand a search, only problem is they fit me so they might not get sold after all 😂 £2 all in :)

We all enjoy talking about the wins we have don’t we, but here’s a story of a fairly substantial loss (for our small business). Around 8 months ago when we were only a few months into this I thought I’d try and source us some stock from eBay.. I found a seller with several items on an auction which was ending at 2am on a Saturday night - When most people are either gurning or sleeping or dancing and gurning… The seller had 5 pairs of Balmain jeans for sale, starting bids of just £18, I thought I was about to make it in life 🥳 the jeans looked fantastic, really on the money for someone who didn’t know any better! I was still amazed that I was the only person to bid and we won all 5 pairs at a combined cost of around £100 including the postage etc. it took us around 5 months to get around to opening the parcel due to our backlog of stock and they are sooooooo obviously fake… but that is what you get for complete naivety and a distinct lack of knowledge. I won’t make a similar mistake again… 😂😂😂😂 well not until the next time anyway

I spend a decent amount of time researching clothing items that I am not sure where to price them at, this one being one of them. I’ve chosen this one just as an example because it’s getting barely any traction on eBay as yet, I know it’s not quite the weather for it but I thought I’d test the water with what you guys and gals think it’s worth.. https://ebay.io/m/p8QjCl I’ve priced it at £130 and my reasoning is the fact that they aren't made anymore and it’s a collab for the documentary series Long way up which starred Ewan McGregor. Also at the time I listed it there wasn’t another one on eBay, granted there’s other long way up items but they are heavier biker jackets priced well into the hundreds. Any thoughts and reasoning behind them would be greatly appreciated 👌 Cheers, Keith

A few of my fav pick ups from the car boots this morning. Percival jacket was £2, Lucy & Yak jeans were £5, 2004 Adidas David Beckham vest was £2 & Ralphie down gilet was £5. Becks vest needs a good wash but for £2 that was getting picked up all day long!

Didn’t expect to pick up quite as much as ai did today, but if it’s a good enough opportunity best take it 🔥🔥🙏
