Hey guys! I got a fun game! I have 100 quotes I have collected over the years! Pick a number between 1-100 and I will share that quote with you!!!! HAVE FUN!
PTSD has almost unlimited causes. It also has an unending amount of triggers. It is something I never thought I would have after my accident but 3 years later it is alive and well. One thing that was told to me by my therapist was to remember how I felt working cattle before the accident. The confidence I had and the ease of mind. And to go into that situation repeating that to yourself, reliving all the times I sorted with ease and never an accident. See my triggers are daily, I never left this industry because it is my life. So I'm getting exposure. I cannot discount the progress I have made but I still blow my top from time to time when working cattle. If PTSD is something you struggle with, what are some of your coping mechanisms? How have you made progress in your healing? If you're still struggling pretty hard, watch this post. Someone else here may have experienced something similar and you can take their advice or resources to help you along.
I just take it one day at a time with my traumas. Sometimes it’s harder than others but one day at a time. One minute at a time. Take time to myself to breathe and relax when I start to get worked up.
@Josh Langworthy you’re right you don’t deserve it but unfortunately we are given circumstances that aren’t fair. But we learn to work around these circumstances. We learn to over come them and you are doing amazing at that!
Good morning everyone! Happy Monday! I hope everyone has a great day! Today I wanted to share this, God is always in your corner and always by your side. You just need to trust in his plan that he has for you. Every battle builds you stronger and builds you into who you are meant to be!! You’ll get where you need to be by Gods grace!! ❤️
I have 11!! But 2 of them are on my butt cheeks and I cannot shows those 😂😂 6 out of my 11 are house tats so only 5 professional ones but I have some leg sleeves and arm sleeve I’m saving up for!
Good Morning! Here is something I feel as if a lot of people struggle with and it can greatly affect your mental health. Lots of times we surround ourself with people who aren’t good for us. Our mindsets don’t align and they might drag you down. Personally I’ve experienced “friends” who weren’t really my friends, talked about me behind my back and when they went down, they would drag me down with them. It took a huge toll on my mental health. I felt like I was constantly falling and not able to get back up. I had to learn that toxic is toxic, whether it be friends or family, and to cut those people out of my life. I’ve lived a much more peaceful life after cutting those type of people out of my life. The people you surround yourself with really can impact your mental health in life in a large way. So take some time to think about if the people you surround yourself are gonna bereft you and your future. If they aren’t and they are just holding you back, then it’s time to let them go and find people who genuinely care about you and will help you grow!!
As I reflect on our club call last night, a lot of us talked about overthinking and people pleasing. When we hear things from someone we admire or get some news we’re not excited to hear, we rush into thinking about worse case scenario and start thinking of every possible outcome. 99% of which isn’t reality. So this quote is a reminder that perspective is so important!
I’m very guilty of overthinking. I worry too much. But as I’m reading The subtle art of not giving a f*ck it’s starting to make me think differently and I’m hoping I can overcome how much I overthink things
it’s been a few days, i’m back! i’ve been fighting some inner demons but im pushing through. i’ve been self isolating and haven’t been on social media. it’ll get better, right?

@Hailey Harcourt I tend to set mine to the side and not touch it after it’s been washed 🤣 then one random night at midnight I’ll get the urge to fold it and put it away
Heavenly Father, thank you for the endless love and protection you have showered us with today. We are grateful to have you in our corner even when we stray from you. You are always there to keep us safe under your guidance and love. We are grateful for everyone in this community and thank you for bringing them to this group. I ask you to offer a little extra love to those of us who are struggling to get through the day. Please continue to watch over us and fill our lives with love and kindness as we sleep tonight. In the lords name we pray, AMEN 🙏
What does self care look like to you? Self care for me is doing everything to become a better version of myself. Even doing things I dislike because I know in the back of my head that will let me be a better person to myself and to others. So, what does self care look like for you? What can you do that will give the world the best version of you?
For me self care is taking time to my self, allowing my emotions to speak through music, maybe do some extra skin care steps or take a relaxing bubble bath! And sometimes my self care is my friends because they are a large part of me
