I had that difficulty falling asleep. What I normally do is either have a sound machine on or play some sleep music. Sleep music helps relax the mind so you could fall asleep faster

I was amused by @Nick Luciano and @Roy Dinges recent observations about the differences between Germany and the US. Particularly as a lot of the difference also relates to the UK.
