Ask anything about finding, accessing, or using campus resources to move your business forward. Post your question like this (copy/paste): 1. School + context: (ex: “state school, commuter, work-study desk job”) 2. Goal this week: (ex: “make content,” “get 1 client,” “build portfolio,” “launch Gumroad”) 3. What you’ve tried: (2 bullets max) 4. What you need: (be specific) 5. Your schedule limits: (ex: “Mon/Wed packed, 2 free hours Tue/Thu”) Common things we can help you find: - Work-study placements with “productive downtime” - Free software (Adobe, Microsoft, Google, labs, loaner gear) - Library databases + research help (market research without guessing) - Career services (portfolio reviews, LinkedIn/headshots, internships) - Campus funding (grants, pitch comps, small business centers) - Spaces + printing (study rooms, makerspaces, podcast/video rooms) - Mentors (professors, alumni network, entrepreneurship center) Drop resources you’ve found (help the next person): - Name of resource + where to find it (website/office) - What they actually helped you do (real outcome) - Who it’s best for (creator, freelancer, product seller, etc.) Mini-challenge (do this today): 1. Google: “[Your school] [ center” + “[Your school] library research consultation” 2. Screenshot the best page you find 3. Comment it + what you’re trying to build Rules: - No shame, no gatekeeping. Ask “dumb” questions. - If you got help here, come back and post what worked.
