I tried making strawberry cheesecake flavored macarons! For the filling I mixed butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and freeze dried strawberries then decorated the edges with graham crackers 😁😁
@Fabíola Oliveira Of course! - 226g of cream cheese - 113g butter - 20g powdered sugar - 30g freeze dried strawberries (blended into a fine powder) I put the cream cheese and butter into a bowl then microwaved it for 20 seconds so it would be softened. Then I whipped it until it fluffy and added the powdered sugar and strawberries 😊
Since I’ve been getting consistent results, I tried making Dubai Chocolate flavored macarons! For the filling I made a chocolate ganache and added pistachio paste with kataifi + tahini sauce in the center. They were super yummy!! 🤗
@Nicole Las Thank you! I just used a basic recipe using the french method so I used equal parts egg whites and sugar then multiplied the weight of the egg whites by 1.3 to get the almond flour and powdered sugar. 😊
@Paulina Scherer You only need to dry your almond flour if it's oily. You can test that by picking a handful of it and a lot of it sticks to your hand or your macarons have wrinkly tops. My almond flour was oily so I placed paper towels on my trays and added the almond flour then let them dry in my oven for 30 minutes at 200°F. It really helps and the paper towels soaked up most of the oil 😊
