Is there a fix-the-mix that is done on a basic beat with not instruments to show how to make it sound better? Like a beat from youtube or a producer that does not have many tracks and is simple. Id like to know how to work on this to make it sound better.

My family is demanding my Christmas wishlist soon. LOL While I use 90% free plugins, I know there are some great paid ones out there. What are your must-haves I should consider adding to the list? Any category.

Were there a set of vocal editing videos on the youtube channel that were recently removed? Or am I going crazy more quickly than I anticipated?

I am an OG for sure. I remember thinking that home computers (Macintosh 128k and the Microsoft Altair 8800 and later the Commodore 64) were a Fad and wouldn’t last the decade. They just didn’t seem helpful to me and you had to be a serious poindexter to understand how to program or use them for any practical use. Also and I hate to say it but I thought Rap was cool and I liked it right from the start but I really didn’t see it lasting into the tremendous soul wrenching art that it became. As well as Punk music. I was right about Disco! lol. Anyway I have decided to embrace ai (it ain’t going no where but up!) I used it today to great effect and great value to me as a Song Writer. I’ll tell y’all about what and how I used it later in the discussion. Sooo.. could like to hear about how ya’ll are actually using ai or if your using it. The sky is the limit! It’s like having a personal Genie in your pocket or on your desk.
