I think having parents say how old their child was they got the diagnosis and what steps they took immediately afterward that they would recommend to others….and/or suggestions of things to consider (vitamins that helped, foods to avoid, sensory items that they use, and home items or changes that made a big difference for their child like visual schedules, reducing the sensory overstimulation in the home—I think what does not bother a neurotypical person, might really affect a child with autism: think led lights vs soft lighting, carpeted rooms vs rooms where the sound bounces off the floors, etc). Strategies that are not what you typical think about for others to consider may be very helpful!
