Oh no! Santa Claus' dashboard lost it's Jolly! In "The Code Zone", from Dec 18th to Dec 22nd, we are running a CSS Christmas Contest to add the Christmas Spirit back into Santa's Workshop Dashboard. Experienced coders likely will only need an hour or two to make this dash their own, beginner coders can take advantage of our extra workshops and co-working sessions to make something magical before submissions close on Dec 22nd. You will end the contest with your visual changes on the dashboard in a showcasable way to share with family and friends, whether this is your first time coding or not. The Code Zone welcomes coders of all levels to learn and work together. The submissions will be judged by a panel of coders, AND a community poll the week of Christmas. A multi-community music concert is exactly 2 weeks away and everyone here is invited to play and/or attend! Hi Tribers, help me come up w a better name for our “challenges” category. Please! The word “challenge” triggers me and I don’t like it. 😂 Just like “that black dog” - when naming him I didn’t like how Blessing sounds in English (so we called him Makarios - blessing in Greek). But it’s worse cuz “challenge” is not just I don’t like it but it actually triggers me for some unexplained reason 🤷‍♀️ I know that in the online world a “challenge” is something that is supposed to drive you forward, achieving new highs. But, maybe because English is not my first language, I don’t like that word as it reminds me of something challenging (not in a good way), struggle-like…. 🤔 Maybe it’s just me??? Is it?? Let me know!! Please… pretties 🥰 I have a few alternatives for this category and do want to brainstorm it with YOU!!! Some of you are brilliant masters with words - like @Nadzee A, @VALA aka Valgerður Eva Þorvaldsdóttir, @Katrina Wright, @Nicole Jordan, @Lisa Black & @Nathaniel Parant for example… Let’s all rename and crown w a new cool feeling this category!!! You can: - learn it as it is (no musical background required haha) just copy the keys! - learn it on a different instrument - Improvise, add stuffs to it - chords, arpeggios,  chord progressions, broken chords, random jazzy notes or/and vocals!
