I got qurrrious about the tastes Santos talked about,this is what I found. In Ayuvedic there are 6 tastes. Sweet,sour,pungent,astringent, bitter and salty. Regarding the other oil I lokked it up and Santos was right sesame oil.... Sesame oil helps in promoting strength and is good for skin health. It promotes the power of digestion. When mixed with various herbs, it acquires their qualities without losing its own properties. Ayurveda says that the term ‘taila’ specifically means the oil of sesame unless specified otherwise. Sesame oil was given such importance for its therapeutic and nutritional value.
