Joy check to start the week.
For a long time, we’ve been taught to move through the world in competition. Be better. Be faster. Get ahead. But something interesting happens when people choose collaboration instead. Ideas get stronger. Energy expands. Everyone moves further, faster. Joy tends to grow in environments where people are building with each other, not constantly measuring themselves against each other. So here’s a little Monday experiment. Instead of asking, ā€œHow do I win this week?ā€ Try asking, ā€œWho could I build something with this week?ā€ • A conversation • A shared idea • An introduction • A small collaboration šŸ‘‡ Joy prompt: Who is someone in this community you’d love to collaborate with, learn from, or simply connect with this week? Drop a name or tag them below. Let’s make some joyful connections. ✨

Networking… but make it joyful.
Let’s be honest. A lot of ā€œnetworkingā€ feels stiff. Name tags. Elevator pitches. Everyone secretly wondering when they can escape the room. But the best connections rarely happen that way. They happen over coffee. On a walk. At a random event where you actually talk like humans. Joy has a funny way of making networking better. People relax. Conversations go deeper. Opportunities appear that no one planned. So here’s today’s little joy experiment: • Invite someone for coffee • Send a message to someone you admire • Introduce two people who should know each other • Go to something local and just be curious Build connection first. Everything else tends to follow. šŸ‘‡ Joy prompt: How do you like to network in real life? Coffee? Walks? Events? Random conversations with strangers? Drop your favorite way below. Someone here might borrow your idea. ā˜•āœØ

What restores you?
For a long time, many of us have lived by an endurance model. Push through. Do a little more. Rest later. But lately I’ve been thinking about something different. Not endurance… regeneration. The idea that life works better when we regularly refill the tank instead of constantly running on empty. I’ve been exploring this idea as I prepare for the Joy-Led Leadership Forum in May here on Skool, but honestly, it applies just as much to our everyday lives. How we structure our weeks. How we take care of our energy. How we create space for joy, connection, and rest. Because when we feel restored, everything tends to work a little better. Our thinking. Our relationships. Our creativity. šŸ‘‡ Sunday prompt: What helps you regenerate? A walk. Quiet time. Time with friends. Music. Movement. Share below. Your ritual might be exactly what someone else needs to try this week. ✨

Tell me something good.
I’m currently reading The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor and absolutely loving it. Then I found out it’s also been recommended by Barack Obama… which made me weirdly excited. Like book-nerd happy. The core idea is simple but powerful: Joy doesn’t come after success. Joy actually helps create it. Your brain literally works better when positive emotions are present. Creativity, problem-solving, resilience… all improve. So now I’m curious. šŸ‘‡ What are you reading right now that’s making you think differently about life, leadership, or joy? Drop it below so we can build a little community reading list. šŸ“šāœØ
