TUESDAY 7/14: In-person Healtheology Workout 💪
There are a lot of places that can help you train your body… But this space is about renewing your mind, spirit, and relationships too. So if you're local, join us for our July Healtheology Session! We’re exploring what Scripture says about mental wellness, wisdom, thought patterns, and the power of renewing our minds in God (not the world) Because the truth is… - What you believe shapes what you think. - What you think shapes what you feel. - What you feel shapes what you do. And what you do shapes your reality. That’s why the enemy works so hard to attack our minds with anxiety, distraction, shame, comparison, negativity, and fear. But we’re learning Jesus actually offers a different *smarter* way… “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” — Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ Sounds pretty nice, right? Together, we’ll move our bodies, breathe deeply, pray, reflect on Scripture, and practice replacing spiraling thoughts with God’s Truth. This is not about perfect fitness. It’s about becoming healthier in our minds, bodies, relationships, and spirits so we can better love God and love others. - Tuesday, July 14 - 7:00–8:30 PM - COMMUNITY Christian Church – Downers Grove Please bring: • Fitness mat • Water bottle • Bible Come as you are. All levels encouraged & welcome.

🩵 Your Free Healtheology Resource Drop
This week, I’m sharing something a little different: 5 Biblical Wellness fails from my actual week. 😅 Including the moment I realized I had checked my abs before I checked my heart. I was feeling puffy. Judging myself in photos. Skipping travel workouts. Struggling to rest. And yes… even putting Doritos on my salad. 😂 So this week’s message digs into 1 Samuel 16:7 and what it teaches us about: - Health - Biblical Wellness - Christian body image - And what God is actually looking at. Because while the world trains us to constantly check the outside... God keeps inviting us to check the heart. 🩵 🎥 Watch Episode 72 on YouTube + subscribe so you don’t miss the weekly Biblical Wellness conversation: https://youtu.be/yJ1jfxVeu9A?si=w0c_--8gEoh9wUe_ 📖 Read the Substack + subscribe for a free Biblical Wellness resource delivered every week: https://open.substack.com/pub/wholehardy/p/i-checked-my-abs-before-i-checked?r=1w211n&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true Choose your favorite way to consume it—or be an overachiever and do both. 😉 Drop a 🩵 below if you’re checking your heart before your abs with me this week.

Strength in Sore Spirit
I need to forgive myself for trying to please everyone but Him. Being part of making a difference doesn’t mean making everyone happy. But it sure makes it feel like failure when we don’t succeed. I know the truth that He doesn’t leave or forsake us, but I find it impossible to let go of feeling like a disappointment. Prayer: God engrave in me that I am not a failure and that you have purpose for this Child in me crying out for proof that I am capable of making a difference and glorifying the kingdom. Come help me feel stable on this shaking ground of past and current pain and control by others. I know whose I am, I am Yours; but then why does it hurt so bad? Psalm 119:105 will be my light right now. I pray in Your healing and guiding name, Amen 🙏 Any other prayers or guidance appreciated 🙏 thank you ❤️

Oh my dear friend I so feel your heart, and I so feel this. Thank you for trusting us with this. One thing that stood out to me is this: making a difference and making everyone happy are not the same thing. In fact, Jesus made an eternal difference, and not everyone was pleased with Him, right? The pain you're feeling is real, but it isn't proof that you've failed. Sometimes it's simply proof that we're loosening our grip on seeking approval and tightening our grip on aligning with God. I'm praying that, little by little, His voice becomes louder than every other voice that's made you feel like you're doing something wrong. He is faithful to finish what He started in you. Love you so much, and we're walking with you. 🩵🙏
My July Prayer for you
Hey ladies of Healtheology 👋 How has your summer been so far? June wasn’t all that bad for me if I’m being honest. But - I don’t think I was all that intentional about it either. Like, a lot of great things & busy things went down. But I can’t really say whether it felt messy, joyful, heavy, or unfinished. So, I’m praying this over you & me to help us notice when we start to feel… •Judgey •Pressurey •Rushed •Annoyed •Behind •Puffy •Delusional •Over it New months can remind us God is *always* willing to begin again & again & again & again with us. He wants us to try Him on like a brand new fit 👗 💁‍♀️ So let’s encourage each other to: ❌ Ditch the regrets ❌ Release the shame ✅ Embrace the freedom ✅ And love our people like heck Let’s walk a little closer to how Jesus would walk. And our July just might be a little more memorable than… wait what month did we just finish? 😛

Healtheology Verse of the Week: 1 Samuel 16:7
🩵 Healtheology Verse of the Week 📖 1 Samuel 16:7 -- "People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." What if 1 verse could completely change the way you approach your health this week? So many of our wellness struggles begin because we're looking at the wrong thing. 🪞 We check the mirror ⚖️ We check the scale 🧮 We check our calories 👙 We check our clothes But how often do we stop to check our hearts? Biblical Wellness reminds us that culture got health backwards. >>> Our goal is to get Healthy to Help, not skinny to socialize. <<< As you move through this week, let this verse become the filter for every health decision you make. This week's "Biblical Wellness Workout": ✅ Memorize 1 Samuel 16:7 🚶‍♀️ Meditate on it during a walk 🙏 Ask God to search your heart >>> Honestly reflect: How often do I check my body compared to how often I check my heart? <<< I'd love to hear from you in the comments: 1. What stood out to you from this verse? 2. What is one way you'll practice it this week? I'm meditating on this Scripture as well and really look forward to hearing what you guys think about how it impacts how we health. Love & Light, Katie
