Middle Seasons Matter
You don’t always have to be launching. You don’t always have to be leveling up. Some seasons are for: refining resting rebuilding realigning Those seasons count too.

Completely agree with this!

Something that feeds me, because I just love eating from my garden! There is no flavor that can top it! You can go to a 5 star restaurant without "fresh and clean" ingredients and it won't be as good as like a farm to table meal.

@Gwyneth Letherbarrow Yes, homegrown raspberries are way better! I grew them for a little bit, but they started to take over my yard and I had to pull them all out. They became a bit of a mess, but they sure were delicious!
I Didn’t Choose the Garden Life
The garden life chose me. Soft life. Strong roots. A little gangster when necessary. What’s something you started casually that turned into a full hobby?

That would be gardening for me too. It was just something I did every summer...just put a pot somewhere with a tomato plant in it. It then grew into more and more pots until I finally owned a house with a yard. I started gardening in my front yard...everyone thought I was nuts to have a vegetable garden in my front yard. It has just always been a growing thing for me.
Back to the soil
This season is about rebuilding. I’m bringing a garden back to life after stepping away and leaving it untended for a while and choosing to start where I am instead of waiting for “perfect.” Slow progress, learning as I go, and letting consistency do the work. Progress lives in what you do consistently

What you have done looks fantastic! So much more clean
Prep season 🌱
Laying weed barrier reminded me that growth starts long before anything looks beautiful. This season is for clearing, protecting, and making space in the garden and in life. Protecting the space before the growth begins. Blooms will come. 🌿
