So I finished the grid for my perpetual wall calendar today. I’m excited! I will sew snaps in the days to attach the numbers. And I will add the month title above. There will also be two small art pieces each month. I will post the January pieces in the comments.

I’m seriously considering using fabric glue for the snaps. Any thoughts?

@Lynda Coker now I’m wondering if I should just use fabric glue for the snaps… thoughts?
Hi Everyone!
Hoping everyone is doing well these days?! I’m kinda out of touch with things with the busyness of getting ready for the coming days of Christmas and the New Years. Just wanting to wish everyone well and no matter what you celebrate hope you have fun and safe coming days ahead! We are just leaving to go have our Christmas with our three and their spouses at a near by Air B&B. Something we’ve never done before. There will be 8 of us and the 3 grand pups too! Ha! Boy! Has it been lots of work getting things ready and doing my yearly holiday baking etc! I’ll need my quiet time so will be checking in on things here then in the next 3 days. Home on Saturday. Whew! Merry Christmas to all that celebrate!

Strut Your Stuff
This is a Winter/Xmas panel that I made a couple of years ago with Roxy’s Journal of Stitchery. I like it so much that it stays up all year. Unfortunately it doesn’t represent Xmas in New Zealand as our Xmas’s are more about sun and sand.

This is beautiful! And the hemisphere difference gives you even more reason to keep it up all year!

Started on the baby gift today. Had “the Moon and the moon sees me” done. Until I realized I made my first “moon” into my 2nd moon after I got dragged away and returned to it. So it said “the and the moon sees me” 😩 now I’m back to just “the moon.” And here I thought sewing would relieve my stress from dealing with accountants and IRS. Guess I’m out of practice using a pattern. 😢

Tear Rip Create
Yesterday I tried making paper flowers from magazines. They didn't turn out well. Today I tried again with fabric selvages that a friend gave me. The finished pieces do look like flowers. The flowers are an inch and a half to two inches.
