Day and Time For a Zoom Meet-Up
I would love to have a live meet up weekly with anyone who is interested in chatting. I would like to know what day and time would work best for the most people. My best days are Mondays, Fridays, or Saturday mornings. I live in the US Mountain west. I know there are many different time zones represented by our group. What would work for you?

I'm in! Fridays work for me.🧶
Hello!
I was drawn by this community as it includes all of the handwork I love to do! Looking forward to sharing and hearing from others about their projects. I live in Northern Calif. Sierra Foothills, between Sacramento and Tahoe. I am married, a mom, and a nurse working with the VA. I also play flute and piano, do bible studies, and read a lot. Thanks!

@Lynda Coker very nice to meet you! How fun that you are a writer. I looked you up😊. I will check out one of your books!
Fabric website suggestion
I just wanted to share this website I found. I haven't ordered from it yet so proceed at your own risk. But it's all deadstock (leftover fabric from the fashion industry) so buying from here keeps the fabric from going into landfills. https://www.sewbysew.com/

@Raelena Farmer - Thank you for sharing - It is unfortunate that we have to be worried about scamming and fraud with some websites. I feel lucky to have a Ben Franklin that stocks a lot of fabric - otherwise, where are people purchasing now that Joannes is oob?
January Challenge
Hi, it's been pretty quite on the community chat, so I'm going to issue a challenge for this month. If you're like me, you have started but not finished some sewing or craft projects. I like to call those UFO's (UnFinished Objects). Here's the challenge: finish one of your UFO's and post a picture of your finished project here in the commmunity chat. If you want to finish more than one, go for it!

I like this idea, too!! I have a bottle quilt. I made years ago. It has the top the batting and the backing. I need to finish it. I am stuck on how to quilt it and I need to do the edges. I can’t believe how long this has been just sitting folded up in a basket unfinished.
