Hi everyone my name is Kathia. I'm from New York. I was constantly in this cycle of having phases where I would only get closer to God when things were going horribly wrong in my life and I was suffering immensely. I would cry my eyes out to the Lord and pray for things to get better and when they did I would slowly start drifting again. It came to the point where I was completely living for the world by going to clubs and drinking every weekend and blacking out 99% of the time. Lusting. Committing sexual sin. No longer attending church and praying. No more spending time with the Lord. I hit my breaking point when I started getting extremely aggressive to those I love (friends and family). I had lost myself and hit rock bottom. Yet, my Lord was my rock because it was as if it all happened to help me realize that I have to come back home to him. I felt this sense of peace wash over me and I knew moving forward from that day everything was going to get better I just had to seek God and trust in his plans for me. 2 years later in my walk with Jesus and I'm grateful to be here and be part of this community to strengthen my relationship with God and truly walk in my identity in Christ. I ask for your prayers to be able to become more disciplined in my walk with Christ and not have it be feelings based. Thank you ! 🤍
