Those of you who menstruate: Do you plan your tasks in synch with your cycle?
We’ve been aware for a while now that ADHD in women is associated with higher sensitivities to hormonal changes which can result in PMDD, worsened ADHD symptoms or reduced efficiency of ADHD medication (for a while meaning – since 2017 I believe?? Correct me if I’m wrong). Just generally though our bodies and brains change throughout the menstrual cycle, and I think many of us will notice those changes over the month. What I’m curious about – do you keep track of your cycle and have this in mind as you schedule meetings, tasks or deadlines? Personally I’m much more outgoing and communicative during my follicular phase, so I’ll plan important meetings, outreach or releases during this phase wherever possible. When I’m luteal or menstruate I tend to withdraw from the world. This is a tricky window as mood regulators drop and I’ll be sooo much more sensitive to negative intrusive thoughts. But I’ve found this window is actually really fitting for deep-diving into learning new things, tucked in comfortably on my sofa. What’s funny is that I started doing this subconsciously. I’ve been focusing on exploring my flow states over the last years, listening to my body and leveraging my impulses. By now I’m aware of what’s going on and how I can use it to my benefit. It’s not foolproof, and externalities can easily get in the way. But I do feel much more confident and aligned in my work and can be gentle to myself when something doesn’t work out. Do any of you relate? Can you identify tasks that work just well in one cycle phase but feel impossible a week later? Would love to hear your thoughts 💛

@Tiffany Noel Taylor Aww! I'm happy to hear it resonates with you. I would love to talk about it inside your community if you'd like. Women's health is severely under-researched and not talked about. That's why I try to share what I know as much as I can. 🥰
Long-term ADHD meds: has anyone stopped?
Hey everyone 🔥 I’ve got a question for those of you who have ADHD and take medication to get through your day. I’m wondering if any of you were on medication for a long time and, after trying a few things, decided to stop taking it completely. About two weeks ago, I did a little test and stopped taking my meds for around 8–10 days. With some good habits and a few tricks, I was still able to get through my daily to-do lists pretty well. The only reason I started taking them again was for my overall well-being. When I’m on my medication, I have less mental chaos and less internal noise. I’m asking because I’m in a bit of a dilemma. I’m tired of the feeling the medication gives me, but at the same time it really helps. Without it, I’m just as productive—sometimes even more. I’m curious to hear from anyone who relates to this. THANKS ! 🥸🔥

@Bill Widmer Thanks for tagging me. @Ced Digital Thanks for your questions. I've been on medication since my diagnosis 20 years ago. So, I've seen the "evolution" of ADHD medication and have been my personal guinea pig. 😆 My medications have changed depending on what my insurance covered, availability of certain medicines (i.e., ADHD drug shortage), and my reactions to the medication, depending on my life circumstances. I stopped taking medication during the times that I was trying to get pregnant, while pregnant, and while breastfeeding. I have two boys and five pregnancies. At times when I did stop, I could still function and be productive. I was also going to therapy for the last 20 years. So when I stopped, my weekly therapy helped tremendously. Also, I tend to restart my medication depending on the seasons of my life. When my life and work became more demanding -- like when I was preparing for trial as a lawyer -- I knew I had to get back on medication. It was too risky to be without medication with my clients' lives on the line. When being an ADHD mompreneur also becomes too much for my ADHD brain, that's when I also know I need extra support from my medication. My monthly hormonal changes also affect the dosage of my medication. As you can see, the pattern for me with my medication is this: - Higher life demands and responsibilities = on medication - Lower life demands and responsibilities = off medication - Pregnancy, hormones, and energy levels = adjust medication accordingly - When I'm driving or taking on risky activities = must be on medication...based on my experience as a seasoned car accident lawyer and knowing the higher rate of accidents when ADHDers are off medication. 🥰 Hope this helps!
Skool Community Owners and Classroom Engagement
I am curious what other Skool community owners do with their classrooms beyond creating a course, posting replays, videos etc. What are some fun and creative ideas for using the classroom that makes that space more engaging?

@Reema Rana @Elizabeth Hadzic I use my the Course folder inside the Classroom as a payment link. That’s easier for me than using Stripe or other payment processing platforms-regardless of the product or service I’m offering. I use the Classroom to pin important posts from the Community - as a way to organize them. In the future when I have more capacity and bandwidth, I can use my Classroom for blogs, events landing pages, podcasts, and more. just some of my ideas. 😄

ChatGPT 🔥New Shopping Research Feature
Hi everyone! 👋 I noticed the new Shopping Research feature in ChatGPT 5.1 today and wanted to share a quick insight that might be useful for anyone running Facebook ads or selling products online. ChatGPT 5.1 rolled out a new Shopping Research feature, and I created a quick video about it for my community. I thought it might be useful to share it here, too. 🥰 (I’m a tech geek at heart, so this stuff lights me up!) (I hope admin here doesn't mind since I didn't have time to create a separate video.) I tested it by searching for gift ideas for my 14-year-old, and the AI pulled together comparison-style results, reviews, and buyer-intent summaries. It felt like a mini pre-purchase assistant. 👉 For advertisers, this matters because "AI-driven product discovery" may influence a buyer BEFORE they ever see an ad. I feel this is the beginning of AI-driven product discovery—another layer that will influence consumer intent. I'm thinking...when (not if) AI platforms become a first-stop “shopping assistant,” then: - my product listings - my product pages - my brand keywords - and the way I describe my offers …all need to be readable and recognizable by AI. That’s where GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) comes in—making sure my product pages and messaging are recognizable to AI, not just search engines (aka SEO). If you want your products included in ChatGPT’s shopping results, here’s the ChatGPT Merchant Application Form mentioned in my video. Do you see the feature on your ChatGPT yet? Have you tried it? Curious how you think this might impact ad strategy. 🥰 Hope this levels up your ADHD and business! I'm cheering you on. 🥳

@Reema Rana I’m glad you like it! 🥰
Hello
I’m Zoe, a Counsellor and Coach (what I call a Coachellor). I'm UK based and support women and girls, especially those navigating ADHD alongside hormonal ups and downs. I know first-hand how tough it can be when hormones and ADHD collide, and I’m passionate about bringing these conversations into the open and offering real support through community. I’ll be honest, I’m a total newb when it comes to building an online community and easily get overwhelmed by all the techy options out there. I’m much more of a people person than a systems whizz! But my priority is creating a welcoming space where you can be yourself, share your challenges (ADHD rants and all), and find genuine understanding and practical tools for wellbeing.

@Zoe Plant Welcome! I agree with @Reema Rana. 🥰 The more ADHD women talking about this, the more it’ll raise awareness. Thank you for doing what you do. 🙏😊
