@Austin Kewley feels like it will add more time to manage them, store, apply (so get new spray system for them) and deal on the day+ need to think about protecting equipment I guess - so yeah (apart from getting an approval from the city council) - more to think about and manage, while cleaning with just water seems much easier and simpler. But hopefully it will become easier after I try a few times??
Surfaces
Hi Austin and all. A few questions for your advice and tips on cleaning different types of surfaces (see also photos attached): 1. I got lines when cleaning concrete. Understand that using prewash with chemicals should do the job better, but 1) I can’t use chemicals to be drained in the waters - need to get permission from council apparently…. But 2) don’t want to add more equipment and things to think about/fit in the car at the beginning 2. Is there a better way / solution to tackle these small, dark spots? See second photo and they still remained after the surface cleaner pass 3. Wonder if there is a list of what types of floor we can wash with the pressure washer? On the third photo I have this kind of tiles… can I wash it with water under pressure or it might break?

@Austin Kewley thanks! When you say lowering pressure- do you have an adjustment setting to lower it? I don’t think I can regulate pressure on my machine- so yeah probably the 40 degree nozzle is the way then (if this is what you mean by wide fan jet?)

That would be great! Some thoughts from me - what keeps my mind busy as a beginner: 1. Main Equipment - yes for new starters (hopefully I now understand the equipment, what it does, what we need - but definitely a good topic to start with 2. Everything else that goes with equipment - this is where I personally still trying to understand more what I need: types of garden hoses, hose reels (or alternative), how to better transport everything, any spare parts to have with me (already had two minor breaks but luckily at home so we fixed it), etc 3. Pre-job check list: like make photos before (I forget still), believe it is important to take a short video of everything to document the state of the property to be cleaned for any potential disputes later; plan the cleaning way (from the top); plan where to put camera to film for social media 4. Marketing strategy 5. Equipment servicing 6. Managing customers - here I was thinking to document everything I have done for history and potentially future followups

@Strathclyde Cleans one tip I saw in some videos which I found helpful: - to put your flyers into the neighbours mailbox after you ve done a job (as they will see results and will want the same) - potentially the flyer’s main message can be different but still the same content
