When my son was first diagnosed with autism at age 3 I worried about how I would tell him about his diagnosis as he got a little older... I looked for books in the library and Amazon, I couldn't find anything that really worked, most books were either for other neurotypical children explaining what autism was or it was about a character with autism. There is a section in the course that covers Leucovorin (Folinic acid) as an "off-label" intervention for autism symptoms more specifically speech. However based on observation in treating patients in my own practice I've seen it improve social reciprocity as well. I recently came across a study done in China recently that echos this finding.
