This is not astrological, but given that this group is 98% female, I thought to share this post with you. Breast feeding is something we might all share. And the fact that we have Venus retrograding through the intimate and secretive sign of scorpio, it felt relevant! ========= 'I do remember the first time @Carl Munson and I made love after our first baby arrived. Both my breasts erupted like fountains of milk!' To find out why, keep reading!.... ========= An old friend of mine, Remi Olaiya, has written a fascinating article about breastfeeding, pleasure and the extraordinary connections within the female body. It's a subject I feel particularly connected to, having breastfed my three children over a continuous period of 12 years. I began with my firstborn, continued breastfeeding through my second pregnancy, tandem-nursed my first two children, and was still nursing my second whilst pregnant with my third. Each of my children breastfed for up to five years. I always wanted them to have some say in when that relationship came to an end, although, as it turned out, all three eventually needed a little encouragement to get off! I know that for many women, breastfeeding comes to an end because they have to return to work. I made different choices, arranging my working life around being at home so that I could continue breastfeeding throughout my children's early years. And perhaps Remi's article offers another perspective on why that relationship felt so natural and important to me. Her article explores the neurological and hormonal connections between breastfeeding, physical pleasure and maternal bonding, including experiences that women may find difficult or even frightening to talk about. I never experienced an orgasm through breastfeeding, which is one of the more unusual phenomena she discusses. But as my opening story illustrates, I've certainly experienced the extraordinary connection between sexual intimacy and the milk let-down reflex!

I’m going to be in Lisbon all day tomorrow sorting out the children’s residency cards, and when I looked at the rest of the week, I realised that moving Tuesday's Classroom would mean squeezing the Classroom and Live Lab into consecutive days. Rather than trying to cram everything in, I’m going to take the sensible option and give us the week off from our usual Tuesday and Thursday sessions. For those of you wanting to explore your triplicity's and phases and understand which egyptian bounds they fall into - you can do it on Astro.com 1) Simply go to astro.com - if you're born after a new moon, select under 'chart type' 'Natal and Pre-Natal New Moon' - If you're born into the Waning Moon Phase, then you'll need to find the exact location of the full moon that occurred prior to birth. 2) Then scroll down to the section 'display and calculation points' and click on the box 'egyptian terms' (apparently some people call bounds, terms) 3) And then bring up your chart as usual. Guess what? I am very interested in looking at moon phase during time of birth in relation to personality as another reflection of our life experience choice/ purpose in life (example- born during full moon you are fully illuminated and born to shine or be an illuminator and shine a light on things- well that's a blip- so much more!). I am also interested in looking at the secondary progressed moon that moves around the chart approximately every 30 years and approx. 2.5 years per 30 degrees to look at themes of Zodiac and houses as well as what flow of life is being reflected by that part of the 30 year moon phase (example- people in a secondary progressed full moon may be in the spotlight or extra seen during those years of their life- again there's so much more. I am in waning Cresent (aka baslamic) just before new moon and it's a time of release/ shedding and so true! ) Anyway! I was having difficulty visualizing the new moon and all the degrees before and after sun of each phase in the birth chart so I drew it. I am sharing to help others maybe or inspire! It's a rough sketch but hopefully understandable. 📀Sun at bottom!
