Do you ever feel like you have the time to write… until you actually have the time? 😅
I have noticed that sometimes the hardest part of writing isn’t coming up with ideas or even knowing what needs to be done. It’s sitting down and getting into the writing mindset, especially when life, work, and everything else gets in the way. Do you have a routine that helps you get into writing mode, or do you just write whenever you can find the time? What’s the one thing that helps you stay consistent with your writing?

@Aurelia Drake I really like that approach. Having the project open and being able to work on it in those little pockets of time probably makes it feel much less overwhelming than waiting for a big block of uninterrupted time. I’m a notebook person too, and sometimes I find myself jotting down ideas at the most random times.

@Martha Dunne I can definitely relate to that! 😂 I think sometimes having a few different projects going makes it easier to keep writing because you can switch when one starts feeling like a chore. I’ve had moments where I’m more excited about starting something new than forcing myself through the project I’m supposed to be working on.
Hey everyone, I’m new here and thought I’d say hello.
I’m working on becoming a better and more consistent writer, and one of the reasons I joined this community was to connect with other authors who are figuring things out too. I’m interested in sharing ideas, talking about what’s working, being honest about the parts that are difficult, and learning from each other along the way. I just enjoy conversations about writing and the process behind it. What’s something you’ve been struggling with in your writing lately?
