Sunday 31st May 11am AEST 9am AWST 6pm PST. Awareness is not enough, EMBODIMENT is what creates real change. Trauma is anything to much, to fast or to little for to long for our nervous system to fully process. Energy in motion = emotion when not fully felt and processed is stored in the body and what creates dense energy low vibration. I have had this good gal persona where I suppressed my needs and desires and people pleased to keep the peace and unconsciously suppressed my emotions and didn't speak my truth as a way to feel loved because I was afraid of rejection and abandonment. Being Italian and having a dad that yelled I guess I didn't want to be like him so suppressed instead of expressed like my mum... This pattern was at the cost of my health relationships and income. Gabor mate shares we choose BELONGING over AUTHENTICITY to keep love and not be diff to family and friends. This can only be rewired on a BODY LEVEL, your body remembers what the mind forgets. Having the nervous system capacity to stay connected with our true self when these emotions arise. Having EMBODIED BOUNDARIES allows EMBODIED SAFETY AND EXPANSION! Somatics and breathwork practice daily allows your window tolerance to expand and respond over react to daily challenges stress and triggers and allows you to come back to parasympathetic calm aliveness and presence. How your nervous system state impacts your health. What nervous system state do you feel you operate in most - comment below 1, 2, 3. 1 - Sympathetic Nervous System - fight / flight - Anxiety, Anger, Perfection, Hyper-vigilence The sympathetic nervous system (SNS) is a branch of the autonomic nervous system that triggers the response, preparing the body for action, stress, or danger. It increases heart rate, dilates pupils, relaxes airways, and redirects blood to muscles, often acting in opposition to the parasympathetic to maintain balance. Key Aspects of the Sympathetic Nervous System: - Function: It governs involuntary reactions to stress, such as increasing cardiac output, boosting blood glucose for energy, and stimulating sweat production to cool the body. - Fight-or-Flight Mechanism: When danger is perceived, the SNS acts swiftly to prioritize survival, such as releasing adrenaline from the adrenal glands, slowing digestion to conserve energy, and slowing down non-essential functions. - Health Impact: Chronic activation of this system due to constant stress can lead to health problems, including high blood pressure and, in some cases, sustained rapid heart rate. 2 - Dorsal Vagal Shutdown or Hypoarousal - Overwhelm, fatigue, exhaustion, The freeze state is an involuntary nervous system response to overwhelming stress or trauma, acting as a survival mechanism when fight-or-flight fails. It triggers immobility, numbness, and exhaustion to conserve energy, often manifesting as "functional freeze," where an individual seems productive externally but feels detached, numb, or chronically anxious internally

@Dunstan Midlane th enervous system works well with repetition so daily you can set your alarm on phone as reminder to put 1 hand on your heart and belly and take deep breath with longer exhale. also the VOO, self hug, grounding somatic practices. I also have a day somatic practice program of 5 mins a day practice for safety, support, expansion and emotional expression.
