red flag about me that likely bothers other people: communicating in such a way that people feel they're being sold to, or have to agrere with me to get me to change topics. rsomething about myself that annoys me - having too many plates spinning - asking ai to write an email on a topic and then never sending out that marketing email (and keeping track of which threads in AI I've implemented and which I haven't - does AI have a tool for that?? @Heather Di Rocco ??

⭐🧃 YARD JUICE DROP #1: The Day I Stopped Chasing Discovery
Guys real talk. I’ve watched this happen too many times. An owner is buzzing. They post. They comment. They build. Then growth slows for a week. And you can feel the panic. They start typing like a marketer. They start begging for comments. They start doing the weird “engagement” stuff. It works for a day. Then the community feels fake. Then it dies. I had the same blind spot until I got close with Jack Robinson. I remember messaging him like: Bro just do the usual things. Prompts. Giveaways. Anything to spike activity. And he basically hit me back with: No. If my members would not proudly bring their best friend here, none of that matters. That line stuck. Because the real growth engine is not an algorithm. It’s pride. Build something your members are proud to send to a friend. That’s why I rate The Skoolyard. Values first. People first. No engagement farming. No guru cosplay. I'mstill revamping and just set up my tiers, so haven't really promoted m u ch yet besides to the people I was serving in the streaming TV 'specialty garden' last year. And since I updated my about page, I've had a number of people join out of the blue through discovery, which is amazing since I'm still at 5000 or so! I'll be adding the linkseverywhere soon, so then I'll know more. Always open to learning! It's an interesting dynamic, with the people I bring who aren't already on skool, their engagement is way less. I see the benefit of helping those people find other skool communities that might interest them.
