This past Saturday was my son's birthday. He turned 17 and his father (my ex-husband) was over. Dad had asked him to follow him outside so he could take a photo, which he did. However when Dad tried to take the picture of course my boy covered his face (a perk of him being autistic), so dad proceeded to yell and swear that all he wants is a f...ing picture of his kid on his birthday and then storms off and drags 2 of our other kids into it and yelled at them also. I honestly get mad about this entitled tantrum having jerk acting like that to a child with a disability. I can bounce back pretty fast from it normally but I had to drive 2 towns over and watch the sun set over the pond and sip my feet to calm down... I honestly don't know what would be best for me to do in this situation... About any of this. It's completely ridiculous for a man over 50 to act like a child and demand a picture of anyone against their will. How can someone verbally assault, demean and insult their own flesh and blood!? And how exactly am I supposed to stay in my base lvl vibration with this going on!? Am I missing something? HELP

I take mindful moments, prayer moments and time for breath work everyday! Which I guess I should just consider is a form of meditation. I was also told when you are lost in the moment, that’s meditation as well, so then each time I garden that should count. Just keeping myself some what accountable…. I try! I’m still learning to take me moments!
