Markers
Hi @Alex Lato Do you use your keep going marker when the dog has its head in the box or do you have a different marker. Reason for my question is that with my keep going marker I deliver to her mouth where as in the box I am dropping it into the box or do you think it really doesn't matter or should I develop a new marker re reinforcer is coming to you in the box🤦‍♀️ Cheers Karen

A toy play session this morning
Hi @Alex Lato Here’s some more toy play from this morning. It was pleasantly cool—a lovely morning, indeed! I've always struggled with toy play and have been told by numerous instructors that my toy play, tugging technique is lacking. I do my best to implement their advice, and I feel fortunate to have a dog that is very playful and tolerant of my imperfections. Shine is a working therapy dog in our regions major hospital so I have had to instil in her not to grab things unless cued, strike for play, bring to pick up and bring to me or hold if I give her something, this is a non negotiable so I do believe this inhibits some of the exercises for us. These days, I find that I struggle with some physicality and mobility, so I believe that learning better techniques would really benefit me. I've edited out the moments when Shine disappears off-screen, having a party for one while parading with her toy, but she always brings it back to me. Please help🤦‍♀️ https://youtu.be/L5tHnHCmjQI?si=xNB655HpWB6anYys
