Happy Beltane... May 1
Let's welcome the beginning of May. Considered summer in some countries but definitely not up here in the north. It is also a full moon in Scorpio so write a list of what you'd like to release from your life, pain, worry, stress, loneliness etc. Then rip it up. Next write down an INTENTION for May. How do you want to feel? What can you visualize yourself doing? Write it in the present tense... I am fully enjoying the month of May. I am giving myself more self care time. I enjoy getting out for longer walks and enjoying the sunshine. I feel more light hearted and see so many things around me to be grateful for. You can write the above in your journal or... rip it up and send it off to the Universe too. Have a wonderful weekend!

A Scorpio full moon is coming on May 1st. Scorpio looks deep into things and shines a light on our shadow side. What we hold in and don't show to the world. Are you feeling anxious? Stressed? Worried about world events? Now... let's turn some of the negative thoughts around... (you can write about them first to release them if you wish.) I would like you to think about how you can live more fully in every moment. What small things bring you joy in the moment? Make a list of those small moments... the sun shining, a warm cup of coffee, 5 minutes to yourself. What are some things on your list? I'd love to know.

With so much going on around the world... we tend to lose sight of the goodness that is around us. Today's prompt: Write about something presently in your life that is "worth it."

I live in Northern Ontario, Canada, and we are finally getting sunshine and warm weather. I love sitting outside on my deck and watching the birds. I look around and give gratitude for all I see and especially the sunshine. Spring and summer are definitely worth it to me and enjoying the peacefulness of the morning. Just me, my hot coffee and the birds😀
Going Deeper
Yesterday I asked the question , who is the real you? For myself... I am holding myself in anticipation. I noticed that in my yoga class yesterday. I get lonely and sometimes I just want someone to come in and take care of physical things i cant always do, like digging out my 3 composters and spreading it on my garden. I am 74 and some physical activity is exhausting. I am a Reiki practitioner and I hold space for others. I trust I too am being held by The Universal Energy. Today your prompt is: Write a letter from the version of you that nobody sees to the version who has been showing up all week. What is the part of you that is tired of watching this other you? What are you holding?
