That’s how things grow. The platform isn’t the destination. It’s the soil. What you grow from it is up to you. What’s one skill you’ve developed from gig work that people underestimate?

After more than 4,350 rides, I realized something most drivers never think about. Every passenger gets in the car because they have a problem. They need: • to get somewhere safely • to save time• to avoid parking • to avoid driving themselves • or just to get through their day easier Once I started seeing rides this way, everything changed. I stopped thinking of myself as a driver. I started thinking of myself as someone solving problems. That shift eventually led me to building Madame Black. It also led to this idea: The platform is the soil. What you grow from it depends on how you see it. Have you ever had a moment on the platform that changed how you see the work?
