If you were chatting with a 10 year old and had to explain what you do, what would you say? 📣

I've been avoiding YouTube like the plague 🫣 My intention at the start of the year was to record video and then strip the audio for my podcast. In reality I kept putting it off and off and so neither was done. Then one of my students @Chenise Kanemoto remind me of the importance of playing around and having fun with different technologies. AND - it looks like the VISIBILITY SPRINT is our winner with only the weekend to go. So today I recorded a one take video, make a thumbnail in Canva and got it out there. (Leading by example!) My intention is to set intentions / take action with this as part of our Visibility Sprint. I am an adoptive mother to pets and to humans. I adopted my two daughters after my adoption social worker told me “you won’t get babies and you won’t get girls”. Little did she know I’m a master of mindset, manifestation and calling all my dreams into my life. 😉 G was 18 months when she became part of my heart and S was 6 weeks old. They are full siblings, now 12 and 13 and they are both loudly whispering as they prepare breakfast in bed for me before S’s soccer game ☺️ (yes, I’m a soccer mum and proud team manager - my girl is captain). They are my heart ❤️- after a long fertility journey I know that I was always destined to be their mother. And that even as a single, older parent my dreams would come true. Today let’s celebrate mothers in all their forms - mums, step mums, bonus mums, birth mums. grandmothers, aunts, sisters, friends, pet mums and mums in waiting. It’s a special, rewarding, challenging, frustrating, joyful and essential role we play raising kind, caring human beings who have their own unique place in the world. Hat tip and big hugs to you all.
