Hola, me llamo Kana (Kay-Nuh)
Let me introduce myself..
My name is Reyna Lacey, I am married, my husband and I have 5 kids together. We currently live in the state of Mississippi (USA). I absolutely love my life, my family, and traveling. Although these days, most of my time is spent working, going home, and then working some more on my side business. 😂 I work at a government office where I also interpret on a daily basis and get hired to interpret in courts around the state. My journey with interpreting actually began when I was about 8 years old. I started interpreting for my parents long before I even knew what interpreting was. I just knew they had taught me Spanish, school had taught me English, and they needed me to tell them what everyone was saying. The greatest feeling was seeing the relief on their faces when they finally understood. Over the years, I've seen that same look of relief on so many other faces throughout my career. That feeling is what inspired me to create this community and begin teaching beginners what I know-Spanish. That, along with my passion for travel, became the inspiration behind this new venture: The Spanish Academy. I've worked as a professional Spanish interpreter, and now I'm excited to share what I've learned in a way that's simple, practical, and beginner-friendly. Whether you're planning to travel and want to communicate with confidence, or you're learning Spanish to use in your everyday life, I hope you'll find this to be a comfortable place where you can be YOU while learning something new and exciting. I'm so glad you're here, and I can't wait to be part of your Spanish journey. Learn. Speak. Connect. Reyna 🩷
