🟢 Weekly Teaching Focus: FEEL THE PULL · Monday Jan 19, 2026
Happy Monday Teachers! I hope you had a great weekend. :) This is what’s on my mind right now... The last few years pulled me out of the studio a bit. Life — and my family — needed me in other places. But now, I’m feeling it. The pull to get back in the room. To be in it again. Fully present. Fully hands-on. Not rushing. Just returning. Steady and clear. That’s where I’m heading overall. And I'm mulling it over and planning my next steps... But right now, it’s Monday. So let’s set the tone for the week ahead, shall we? :) 👉 What’s your intention for this week? Big or small. Technical or mindset-based. Pick it. Name it. Share it below. 💬 And then — reply to the person above you. Encourage them. Cheer them on. We’re better when we build together. _______________________________________________________________________ 📅 Coming Up: We have revamped and up levelled the "Acro Foundations Framework" course and we kick things off this Friday! My intention for the week is to work really hard on my set tech warm ups while we still can before comps start.
🔵 Midweek Check-In: “So That Plan You Made…” – Weds Jan 7th
Remember Monday? You picked a focus. You made a plan. You had a vibe. So… how’s that going? Back in the studio — feeling sharp? Or still staring at your calendar wondering what day it is? :) Is your focus still holding strong, or did the week hijack it? This isn’t a performance. No need to sound wise or impressive. Just check in with what’s actually happening... and working. "Drop one honest thing you’ve noticed - in your teaching, your students, or your own brain this week." We’re listening. And don't forget to support another member who's sharing - it's always nice to know that others are listening too:) ___________________________________________________________________________ 📣 What’s coming up: The Aerials Done Right student course kicks off this Friday inside the Acro Dancer Skool group. Send your students in — or watch it unfold from the sidelines. Better Aerials incoming!

I'm really working on being consistent with my own strength training - especially core and upper body for spotting - I have an everyday plan and so far so good!

I am all about good technique. It makes me happy when I see straight legs and pointed toes on stage. And also safe technique on stage.
