Train like you would in a fight!
Practicing motions and visualising the positions/scenarios you'd come across in a fight is a great way to train your brain to bring to life those scenarios. Building it in muscle memory wise so when it happens it's not a shock, just straight execution.

Spatial Awareness Striking Drill
This is an amazing drill as everyone always strikes coming forward BUT when the pressure gets applied most people don't like striking backwards. This allows you to work on punching power, balance/weight distributions and using angles

Arman Tsarukyan defeats Dan Hooker! πŸ”₯
With the most recent interim title fight being announced between Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett do you reckon it’s unfair to Arman? πŸ€” Should he be fighting for the interim title instead? I heard Dana White say that whoever wins out of the two will challenge Illia for the title next! πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Thoughts? πŸ’

MMA Class #8 πŸ₯Š
In this specific MMA sparring training I applied specific rulesets on the members getting them to focus on specific areas of their game. I reward them in a fun way to where if they land a takedown then the other person has to do burpees. (Incentivising them to go for it) Aside from that, having the body shot ONLY rule in effect ensures safety AND for the IMMAF Youth World Championship they have this rule in effect. So if any of our young members want to compete in that in the future it's a great way for them to practice! πŸ’―

Using the cage to create distance whilst striking! πŸ₯Š
When it comes to fighting, ring craftsmanship is important ESPECIALLY when it comes to completing at a high level. We want to use our play arena as much as possible. For example; you'll so boxers use the ropes to lean on and defensively manoeuvre themselves, You'' see Thai fighters use the ropes and deep their opponents away from the spring back of momentum they gain. Similar with a cage, you can use the cage to apply the same thing. I used this concept in my first fight in IMMAF world championship 2022 and it worked great to keep my opponent at bay!
