Hello every i hope everyone is having an awesome day I'm tan I'm from south Carolina I'm beat maker / producer

I have my vocals set-up similar to the classroom module, where I label my lead vocals, and chorus on separate tracks. That way if I want a different sound, especially if I'm the only one singing, I can have different fx to distinguish each part, and give it it's own character. I use Graillion Auto tune - the free version as the first plugin in my vocal chain. It does a great job, I use it subtly. I like to have a slight saturation on the vocals to give it a little bite, and polished sound. I try not to use a lot of reverb, or delay. It usually comes down to the Auto tune, saturation, EQ, and Compression. Kind of an all-in-one solution- I like to use Izotope Nuetron 4 to tweak the tone etc. I am still trying to minimize the nose floor. I tend to write one section at a time, and comp. In that manner until the song is completed. Sometimes my settings change on my mixer interface. When this happens, I tend to use Waves Vocal Rider to level the volume through the track. If the track gets too noisy from plugins, it's hard to use a gate to minimize it, because it's a balancing act, and you can lose some of that saturation that gives your vocals that bite, if your not careful.
