It's only open to ASCAP registered writers and at the moment, the fee to enter is $25 if you use code: ascap@isc. Judging is by various artists(Andy Grammer, Elle King, Jason Mraz, etc) and just to name a few previous winners, Coco Jones, Kehlani, Fantastic Negrito...
