Something slightly funny happened at the start of this masterclass… We were all gathered, chatting quietly, wondering if Justin would arrive — and it turned out to be the perfect metaphor for networking itself. Because networking often feels like waiting outside the room. Waiting until you feel ready.Waiting until you feel confident.Waiting until you know what to say. And yet, what unfolded in this session was a reminder that networking isn’t really about strategy at all. It’s about connection. It's about resonance. It's about being yourself in rooms where that is welcomed. Justin shared that entrepreneurship is simply good people helping other good people — and making good money doing it. But many of us struggle not because we lack tactics, but because we haven’t yet found spaces where we can practise being visible safely. One of the most beautiful insights was this: 👉 Networking often reconnects you with yourself before it connects you with others. In @Justin Yip's Aligned Entrepreneur Network You practise saying who you are. You practise talking about what you care about. You practise that feeling of belonging. And from there, opportunities emerge naturally. We explored how aligned networking differs from traditional networking — less pitching, more presence; less competition, more collaboration; less performance, more relationship. Justin described networking as meeting people ahead of you, beside you, and behind you on the journey. Mentors, peers, and those you can support. That simple reframe softens the pressure and turns networking into shared growth. When we spoke about building community, his advice was beautifully simple: ✨ Start with what you’re passionate about ✨ Be the steward, not the star ✨ Let clarity emerge through action Imperfect action leads to clarity. And perhaps the line that stayed with me most was: Get excited about being you.

I just heard from @Justin Yip that he’s grown his aligned networking community to over 400 people.
