ChatGPT recently released a new ad platform, and it works pretty well. The problem is the conversions are a little tough. I've tested out the three different metrics that it uses to get leads from clicks to intent to conversion. By doing just link clicks, you will get an insane amount of impressions, but I found almost a 0% conversion cycle, and I blew through a ton of marketing spend. Ironically enough, when I switched to conversions, it actually went way better as far as ad spend goes; however, conversions were almost nothing and super slow. It's interesting because ChatGPT only allows you to do static imagery and headlines, and the targeting is a little limited by region. You have to give it a prompt to try to find the type of clients you want. This seems like this could be a very high-engaging level of marketing, especially as people migrate more to looking through chat instead of Google. Still working through trying to find best practices, so if anyone here has found anything that has worked for them, please post it in the thread.

One thing that's been working really well for us is, as a lead magnet, offering 80% off discounted lab testing. We basically pay for the lab test out of pocket, but their initial payment, which is like $20-30, covers the cost of acquisition. As long as they're a qualified homeowner (as far as you know, home value and our right type of avatar), this has generated very high-intent leads off of cold traffic sources.
