Let me tell you the truth about timing: It will NEVER feel like the perfect time to start. Life will always be busy. You’ll never feel “ready.” And there’s always a reason to wait until next week, next month, next year. But you know what separates people who win from people who don’t? They start anyway. They work with what they have, even when it’s not ideal. This is your sign to stop waiting. The perfect time doesn’t exist but today is pretty damn close.

Here’s a simple rule I swear by: Give yourself 3 minutes to write the first draft of any idea. Why? Because most people overthink their writing to death. They write 10 words, delete 5, rewrite 7, and end up with NOTHING. The 3-minute rule forces you to get the ideas out of your head and onto the page. Sure, your first draft won’t be perfect, but guess what? That’s what editing is for. You can’t fix a blank page. Try it out, and let me know if it works for you.
