Maybe you've started and stopped. Maybe you haven't even let yourself say out loud that God wants you to write a book — because saying it out loud makes it real, and real is terrifying. I get it. That was me too. 🙋‍♀️ This community exists because I have finally said yes to what I'd been burying — and I'm documenting the whole journey here, in real time. The doubt, the resistance, the tools that actually help, and the breakthroughs when they come. You're not here to watch from the sidelines. One of the things I've realised that has been an obstacle for me when it comes to writing, is the struggle of "but I don't have time to sit down and write". Then I tell myself "on the weekend I will" - then it comes. It goes. Still no writing. So to deal with this I created for myself a 7-day challenge to start building the muscle of writing. Because I work full time, it's going to be evenings and weekends for me - amongst everything else. But one thing I KNEW I could manage - was 15-minutes. Being the visual girl that I am - I've created a tool to track my 15-min writing sessions for the next 7-days. You can access it to in the Classroom tab in this community. Let's go!

I'm curious to find out where you rate yourself in terms of confidence in knowing the topic you are going to write about. The whole point here is: 💡 If you know the topic - what's your next step? 🤔 If you have some thoughts about the topic, but haven't landed on it yet - then let's explore that! 🤷 If you haven't yet had a sense of direction re topic yet - but just have that 'knowing' that there is something there - that's exactly the kind of thing we can work together with here in this community. Sometimes it takes an objective perspective and some open questions to draw those clues out that are already there!

I LOVE this idea that God put on my heart this week, when I was thinking about the big question "where do I even start". Picture yourself in your favourite bookshop. You are browsing the books on the shelves. What's the first thing you do when you've taken the book off the shelf? For me - I read the back of the cover to get a sense of what the book is about. There's the clue! When someone is holding YOUR book in their hand, and they turn it over to read the back to understand a bit more what the book is about - what do you want it to tell them?
