Grateful for a nice birthday gift from my wife. Went to an eco hotel together outside of the city without the baby. Made 7 videos so far on the new youtube channel. Is relieving making videos without expectations but I am finding myself still checking the views and getting little dopamine hits which is not why i wanted to make them in the first place. Most excited to get more active in trading. Spent the past few months just studying up and getting ready for the move, but now that we're settled I can focus.

Pretty random, but I listened to a few police interrogations with some people who did some fucked up stuff and that made me think about how everyone lies to themselves to make themselves seem sane. Even when called out on a lie, a new truth is made. It's also easy to get bullshitted by someone if you take everything for face value. It's hard to see the truth in people who know how to manipulate their way to get what they want. Fake gurus use cliche tactics which are easier to spot but even those aren't even enough when you want to believe them.
