Day of clearing the pond - Week 5..!
I am just feeling so grateful today for everything. I actually started my weekend in Friday morning because I didn't feel like working in the morning as the garden was calling again, and it was my Mum's birthday in the afternoon and i'd arranged a small family get together since dinner plans had been cancelled as she's just come out of in hospital the day before. So after a lovely swim and film day yesterday, today I was without my wife, as she was busy making plougmans for the judges in the community village show, so after setting up down there, and collecting my daughter from her sleepover, my middle 12yr old son expressed an interest in helping remove that stump, so we tackled it together. We had so much fun doing it, drinking a few cold pepsi and zero alcohol lagers as we worked and laughed together, and got the thing out! We discussed what we should do with it, and decided it would probably make quite a cool table that we could put in the woods. We also worked around the garden pruning a couple other trees, talking about what we could plant where and putting back together the pond filter, and he said he wanted to wash the car, so we did that together after tea. Now he wantss to wax it tomorrow. Think he had a good time. And he's not even mentioned about getting paid! Such a lovely day having some quality father and son time.🥰 Something I never experienced as a boy growing up with my mum and two sisters. (Before evil stepdad came onto the scene) Hope you are having / had a fabulous weekend. 😍 Tell us what you've been up to? .

As we discussed, it's all in context. I pay to keep my communities "on topic" and free from spam for members (enough of that on other platforms). I've had people join my community, not interested in the topic of my community AT ALL, didn't contribute to conversations, didn't engage, then *BAM* try to post spam self-promotion. THAT is what I abhor. On the other hand, there are members that have groups that are similar in topic and they have a very specialized talent...I have no issue with them sharing their groups casually within a conversation. The same as you would in real life. What I like about skool is that I, as the owner of a community, pay to maintain the integrity of the community. They joined because they genuinely enjoy what I'm sharing. My expertise. My insights. My knowledge. And I love hearing their insights, opinions, and perspectives. I sincerely enjoy others sharing because I love people. I have joined communities that were built as advertisement hubs. And it's also fun in those communities to see things that interest me. Expand my horizons. Learn. Grow.
What have you been working on today?
And do you need any help and advice? Do share what you've been up to. I love to see what you're all working on... Share your wins, or tell us your woes. 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱, and usually when it feels SO hard, it just means that you have pushed that boulder so far up the hill you are just about to reach the nice flat peak before you can push it down the hill the other side! Remember, we can all come and push that boulder with you if you let us! Businesses were never meant to be run alone. We are stronger together! 💪😍

@Karin Crawford I appreciate the offer, but time isn't really working on my side lately. Just more to do than I have time for.

@Karin Crawford sure
This is seriously not how I planned to start my Wednesday! 😖
Why is it always on the days when you have deadlines, calls, and so many things to do.. I'd literally only just got the computer set up perfectly after It got hacked in March. I was struggling today before I even turned the computer on 🫣 I hope you're having a much more productive day and if you're not then know you're not alone!!

I got my computer compromised about 8 - 10 years ago. Since then, I use PC Matic and other than my computer just dying (probably from over-use and too much data on it), knock on wood, haven't had an issue. I hope your day gets better. I hate it when stuff like this happens. It would be such a better place if there weren't scammers and thieves.

@Adam McCollough Yeah, I remember when our computer got compromised. It's worth the cost of protection...that's one expense I consider mandatory.
