The Book That Changed My Relationship With Money
For years I had money shame. Making money felt wrong. Like I was taking from others. Then I read "The Psychology of Money" by Morgan Housel. Key lesson: Money is a tool. It's not good or bad. It's what you do with it. Now I see money differently: - Revenue = value created - Profit = sustainability - Savings = freedom - Giving = impact Money shame was holding me back. Letting go of it was freedom. How do you see money?

I agree, it's how you view it and use it.

My 2nd IRL Skool Meetup this week!!
It’s been a fantastic week for IRL meetups. Tonight, my family met up for dinner and had a fantastic discussion on all things AI with our very own @Neil Abbott who’s in my area this week for work! Neil is just as kind and knowledgeable in person as he is here on Skool! Neil brought his laptop and we had a fantastic time chatting about all the cool stuff he’s working on and he showed us some of his AI builds, my husband Bob got to chat about all the AI things he’s doing too. And my daughter Elizabeth got to share her Minecraft skills and I showed off the storyboard of our hoped-for app build. We even saw a double rainbow from the restaurant patio! 🤣 Anyone in the restaurant overhearing our conversation probably thought they’d been somehow transported to an AI and app building conference 🤣 Seriously, we were going through everything in such fine detail! What a great way to spend the evening 💯 we are going to meet up again soon before @Neil Abbott heads back home to Pennsylvania ✨😁✨

🫂 A Confession: AI On Skool & Protecting Authenticity
I believe that words are the most powerful thing under the sun. When I first joined this platform on December 3rd, 2025, the #1 thing that attracted me to Skool was how genuine it felt. It felt like a distant family I had always known. Real posts, like-minded people and meaningful connections, real people meeting and connecting from around the world. It was truly refreshing. So this post is to protect that, to make sure that as we move forward, this group, and all of skool continues to be what brought of us to it and made us fall in love with it in the first place. So as of today, I want to ask that no one makes AI generated posts, comments, or uses AI to replace a space that is meant for human connection. I remember back then I would spend hours on posts, making sure they made sense, that the narrative tied into why people first joined this group, and that each post was truly from the heart. I’ll admit though, in the pursuit of engagement, that changed over time. Less connection, more quick polls or gimmicks and less of what it used to be. Till this day my favorite posts in this group have been those that took place back then: When I asked “What’s Your Why?” Or "What Was Your First Job?" when we reflected back on our journey's and the stories that have made us who we are. Or when I'd share lessons, both in business and personal life that improve our quality of life like Why I Give Thanks for 60 Seconds Every Day 📚 or Control What You Can. Let Go of the Rest. A Lesson from @Tony Sibbald. Skool is special because of the authenticity here, and here's my promise to do my part to not only protect that, but to nurture it and maintain an AI FREE community when it comes to how we all write and connect. If you have any thoughts, I'd love to hear them. Looking forward to connecting more.

@Nick Nebelsky But sometimes ai is just for fun (as I was explaining to my anti-ai girls last night).
