At the beginning of 2025, I chose a word of intention. My word was intentional. And then life had other plans. By the end of January, they found a tumour on my right ovary. April 3rd brought major surgery. The months that followed slowed me down far more than I expected. There were days when my only real win was resting and listening to my body. That wasn’t the year I had mapped out. But it became the year I needed. And still… somehow… 2025 hasn’t been empty. I launched a spiral version of my BREATHE premium guided mental health journal. I finally finished the full content for my third journal, a three month journey for midlife women who feel stuck and weighed down by limiting beliefs. That one will launch next spring or summer. I’m still bootstrapping, so cash flow has been tight and timelines have stretched longer than I’d like. That part hasn’t been glamorous. But I’m learning that slow growth doesn’t mean stalled growth. I also started a community called The Courage Collective for women. It's free and always will be. Right now there are 62 women inside and I don’t take that lightly. In mid January, I’ll be launching the first paid three month course inside the community and that feels both terrifying and exciting. And I started a YouTube channel. I’m at 137 subscribers. Not massive, but it's a start and I’m proud. There are over 100 videos and Shorts up and I’m learning as I go. Editing. Storytelling. Showing up imperfectly. Being a beginner again at 59. I’m part of several Skool communities and Ben’s YouTube group, learning how to do this properly, slowly building skills that future me will be very grateful for. This year hasn’t been about speed. It’s been about staying connected to myself while building something that actually matters. Intentional didn’t look the way I thought it would. But it showed up anyway.

Me too. I've been so busy with so many projects that I haven't had time to finish Evelyn's workshop or watch Laura's. Hopefully by the end of the weekend, I'll feel caught up!
