Hi sisters, If you can pray for me and my family I would greatly appreciate it. I just lost my car and not sure how I’m going to get to work or my son to daycare. 😔

I am sorry I have been distant within the community lately. I feel like attacks are coming from all sides and I am trying to just stand and hold my peace. I know there is power in prayer and agreement so I am reaching out asking for help in prayers. I’m not sure if I’ve shared this but my husband is an active addict, it is something he has battled since a very young age. He goes through spurts where he will be actively using then he will go through spurts where he is clean. For about a year now he has been in one of the worse phases of his addiction and I am unsure of what he is actually using but it is something I have not dealt with in the past. He has left our home and not supporting me or our children at all and it’s been a struggle! I know God is more than able to break the chains once and for all. This is where the community can help, can I get as many as my prayer warrior friends praying against these addictions that are holding my husband captive even if you are just pleading the blood of Jesus over Justin, God will move. Let’s bring him home to his family healed and whole and forever in Jesus name!

God’s people were living under Assyrian oppression, weighed down by fear, confusion, and spiritual decline. The nation felt powerless—surrounded by enemies, divided internally, and uncertain of their future. In Isaiah 8, right before this verse, the people are described as “walking in darkness” because they were seeking answers everywhere except from God—turning to culture, opinions, and their own understanding. Their darkness was not only external circumstances but internal spiritual disconnection. Then Isaiah speaks a prophetic breakthrough: Light is coming. Not from within them, not from another nation, but from God Himself.
