I'm Joy Chapman currently Calgary, Alberta but split time in Lower Mainland BC. I'm mostly a country/pop/rock singer, but looking to increase my growls and effects especially in upper range to C6. I work on vocal imitations and wanting to perfect Steven Tyler's high notes with fry/distortion in Dream On. I have most of the rest of song down with added rasp. I have a wide vocal range (Guinness Record for lowest female vocal note) having recorded to E0 and C10. I've released 14 singles and album with many genres on it including classic rock, 2 songs charted on radio. I'm hoping to gain insights and "aha" moments to get my voice to achieve the tones that I'm looking for.
