How I did “Appreciate” this morning
I’ve realized that if I haven’t stopped to think about how my dog’s day is going, or spent any time looking in his eyes, I’m doing too much and moving too fast. Sad isn’t it? When I first got my dogs they got so much of my attention, but now between kids and work, sometimes I can find myself treating them kind of like furniture. Just part of the house. That’s how I know I need to slow down. This morning after I activated and drank some water, I sat with my dog on his bed and spent time connecting with him. Might seem weird to some people, but it’s kind of like therapy for me tbh. If you’ve got pets, give it a try. Their love is so unconditional!

Up and ADAM!
Good morning! Just a simple clarification for most people. When we talk about Adam, specifically Activate, this would happen within the first few minutes of waking up. Do something to wake up! This could be a two minute stretch, 10 air squats, a few push-ups, a quick walk outside to get some sunlight. Then replenish all the water you lost the night before, and make sure you do this before coffee. Many people then sit down and journal for a few minutes or just go over “what’s right” in their life for a few seconds. Appreciate. Meditation seems to be the hardest one for most people to integrate, so we will talk more about this on our call Friday. It doesn’t have to be complicated! The biggest benefit?? You will start happening to the day instead of letting the day happen to you. You are intentional. Very quickly, this intentionality will spill over into the rest of your day.
