Know God!

The enemy doesn’t need you to openly reject God. He just needs you distracted, isolated, complacent, and spiritually asleep. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8 KJV Faith is not passive. You stand watch. You stay disciplined. You guard your mind, your home, your family, and your brothers. Peter continues: “Whom resist stedfast in the faith…” — 1 Peter 5:9. There comes a point where every man has to decide what he stands for, who he follows, and what he is willing to defend. Stay vigilant. Stand steadfast. Serve Christ. “As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” — Joshua 24:15

Labor Day is a good reminder that rest isn't the reward for a soft life, it's the reward for a life of labor. God designed us to work. To build. To provide. To carry weight for the people who depend on us. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." — Colossians 3:23 So as we step into this week, a few questions worth sitting with: Did you rest with intention this weekend? Present with your family or did you just check out? What's the ONE thing you've been putting off that needs your labor this week? Name it. Attack it. Who's a brother you haven't checked on lately? Reach out today. The world doesn't need more comfortable men. It needs men who show up EVERY morning ready to lead their homes, sharpen their brothers, and do the work God put in front of them.
