I’ll keep it real with myself. Today wasn’t a true protein sparing day, but it was an honest attempt. I ended up at 172 grams of protein, 40 grams of fat, and 139 grams of carbs. Not perfect, but it’s coming right after a weekend of overeating and a packed work schedule, so I’ll take the win. Total calories were 1546, which is still pretty low, and now I’m headed to the gym feeling surprisingly good on this low calorie and moderate protein setup. Sticking to low fat and low carbs has been a bit of a fight, but I’m working on it. I have a feeling that after today my cravings will settle down, and tomorrow I’ll finally lock in my first real protein sparing day.
